New Acquisitions and Permanent Collection

This exhibition showcases recent additions through purchases and gifts to the University’s Permanent Collection. A particular area of focus has been works by Chicago artists. These new additions build on one of the core strengths of the Museum’s collection.

New Acquisitions: work by Harry Callahan, Gladys Nilsson, Barbara Rossi, Roman Siemianowski, Edmund Teske, John Wilson, Karl Wirsum

The exhibition Urban Reality: Works from the Permanent Collection brings together images in the collection that explore the urban environment. Photography, prints and paintings of New York City and Chicago are represented here by artists such as Garry Winogrand, Nicholas DeJesus and Robert Donley.
